Details
George H. Alexander Machinery Ltd. (Birmingham, England) pantograph engraving and die-sinking machine, supplied by J. Arthur Deakin & Son, New York. The original instruction manual for the No. 2A and No. 3A Die-Sinker comes with it, so it's likely a 2A or 3A (a Deckel G1L copy). Speed chart 475-9,500 RPM, 1,400 RPM motor, 3-step belt drive. It has a T-slot copy table and a work table with handwheel on a floor-standing cast-iron pedestal, plus a tray of collets/cutters, styli, and a ruler.
It's coming out of a warehouse cleanout, so it's sold as-is. It looks complete, with light surface wear, but it hasn't been run. The serial plate hasn't been checked yet.
